Bore slugs to .301", now what size resizer?

I slugged the bore on my Italian 7.35 Carcano and find it measures .301. I'm going to order a custom bullet resizer from Lee to resize standard .308 bullets to this size. I know with cast bullets, sizing is usually done to one thousandth of an inch larger; but what if I want to resize jacketed bullets? These generally measure right to bore diameter, right? So should I go for .301 or .302?

Jonk, Lyman has a note on their 7.35 Terni tables that states: "Due to the relitively poor design of these rifles, we do not recommend their use except for lead bullet shooting". I believe the carcano falls into this catigory, too. After that warning, always use jacketed bullets with the same size as the bore. Even .005" oversize may cause catistrophic pressures. Then to jacketed bullet reduction: some members of the industry recommend not reducing more than .006" as loose cores will result, which will effect accuracy. Also, a slight banana shape may result resulting in the same thing, except much more apparent. Perhaps it would be best to stick with cast lead. Jon,If you're going to the trouble of resizing bullets, what about swaging them from the get-go? Then you don't have the loose core issue (hopefully). Just a suggestion.
