As I have been saving interesting articles from the Amer. Rifleman
mag for many years in a scrapbook I have one 2 page article from
the May 1975 magazine showing years and lots of the corrosive G.I.
ammo by arsenal. Anyone interested in geting a repro of it may E mail
me and will send my address. Then just send a stamped, self addressed
bussiness sized envelope and will send a copy. Or just get hold of a
May 1974 American Rifleman mag.. It starts on page 36.
E mail: j3rdinf@comcast.net This article is from Army Tech manual
9-1305-200 dated 14 June 1961 according to the NRA.

Joe, I think the same information is available on line. Take a look at this site as I think it has the same info: www.jouster.com/bulletin/primers.htm It seems that those of us who spent years saving those big piles of old tech manuals and magazine articals are being eclipsed by the computer generation. I've still got a PILE of this stuff gathering dust.

    Joe,

I've been trying to find this article for two years. You have mail!

    Mark,

And thank you, also! Bookmarked it.

Mark Christian: If you have original Army Training manuals and Field
Manuals gathering dust, do like I did and put them up on auction. I
came into about 300 of them and sold them for a low of $6.00 up to
$42.00 ea. I believe the one with the old nite vision scope on the M-1 carbine went the highest. Yes, the computer generation is truely the
best in most cases. I must agree with you. Checked out that site
you put in but think the Rifleman goes just a bit deeper into it.
