I am trying to find out about an old shotgun.
The brand seems to be F.A. Loomis. Its model # is IXL No. 9
Serial # 3460. It has the # 12 stamped on the underside of the barrel.
The engravings or fairly ornate. Overall the gun is in poor condition but certainly restorable.
The barrel is 31.5" and heavy as hell by todays standards.
Any information on age , value, or esp. history would be greatly appreciated.
