how many made of this type??? when in service??? DOM (when made)??? value??? of intrest to collectors??? how common / rare ??? info, facts, stories, data, experiance, anecdotes.....

    151,816 pistols were produced by the John Inglis Co. from Feb 1944 to September 1945. Of these 50,000 had tangent sights. Value?....maybe $500-$1000 depending on proof marks and condition.

    Those Inglis P35s with a CH prefix to the s/n were Chinese contract.

    not a CHINESE CONTRACT gun...
    no pictograms or chinese characters on the gun...
    not in the SER# range for the CHINESE CONTRACT...
    its a MK.I* not a MK.I...
