anyone know why the bullet guide on the barrell has burs on either side. The bullet is the guide that guides the bullet in the chamber as it vomes up from the from the clip. It is an intregal part of the barrell. Any suggestions on what ammo to use to prevent jams. Thanks

the burs on each side of the ramp are fine, leave them alone. when the cartridge leaves the magazine it is fed up the center of the ramp to the chamber. my mk II's get a steady diet of federal, they run great with the coated 36 grain hollow point 550 pack and the 40 grain lead round nose lightning/champion. fun pistol you have there, enjoy it!
