This felix sarasqueta y cia .410 side by side belonged to my cousins husband who passed away a year ago. I am interested in purchasing it from her but am really having trouble finding any value or other information on this gun. It is a neat looking little gun and I would love to add it to my collection but I really need to find a fair value. Any help would be appreciated. The gun seems to be in good condition other than some rust on the barrell.

You might check the on-line auctions to get a ball park value. Spanish shotguns were imported in quantity from the 50's to the 80's. From your photos it appears to be a basic no frills model. The rust on the barrels would be another negative factor affecting value. The only thing it has going for it, is that's its a .410. Generally .410 doubles bring more money then the larger gauges.

With the rust, maybe $100-$150.00 Do the bores also have the rust???

The bores are shiny and smooth like a new born babys bottom. Thanks for the info everyone.

I love to buy guns in this condition not too good on the outside but good on the inside .The rust is a BIG negative but I personally believe The right person could make this gun look a lot better then it does now [:)].However it could be ruined and have very little value if it was tried to be fixed the wrong way[:(][V]. I personally think it is worth more then 200.00 as it stands and could be worth twice that if cleaned properly.

There are 3 Sarasqueta names, Victor, Felix, and JJ. You may also find the name spelled with a K instead of Q after 1975 (Basque thing) Victor made fabulous guns; hand made sidelocks of best quality. Victor Sarasqueta (proof mark is VS on the gun) was absorbed in the DiArms consolidation, and did not survive its closing. Felix was a distant relative of Victor and made a very decent gun, but not true Best quality. JJ was not related, and tried to capitalize on the name. The lowest quality, not particularly desirable. Do not believe parts are available for ANY of the three. My SWAG on value- current condition, $150- for family, $200.
