I have a model 94 Winchester 32ws made in 1932. Can I use modern ammo in this gun. I have some older Remington 170 Gr. Core Lokt soft point. I was just wondering if the new stuff was to much for the old gun

it will handle any modern factory ammo if in good condition, if it worries you have it checked by a gunsmith. my win 94 in 32spl was made in 1926 and works well with new factory ammo and my reloads. eastbank.

Ammunition is made to the pressure specification of the cartridge. Modern ammo has the same pressure as older ammo for a given caliber.
Therefore, current mfg'd ammo is entirely safe in your Win. 94 .32 special. I think 170 grain is the only weight made for the .32 Special.
