Is there an actual name for a cartridge that is the 338 win mag necked up to .375? what is the name if there is one and who might be able to get/make reloading dies? thanks

    Look up 375 Taylor. An alternative would also be a 416 Taylor or a 358 Norma Mag.

    I can't say that any of the reloading die suppliers will have this particular set in stock but it never hurts to do a search of these suppliers to see. Usually they are on the custom order basis where you will have to place an order and wait the necessary time for the manufacturer to produce them. They will be pricey.

    The company CH4D will produce these for you at what is probably a slightly better price.

    If you would entertain a suggestion to update your cartridge selection, you might consider the .375 Ruger. Very similar case length but no belt if that makes any difference at all. It has the .532 rim and the base is the same diameter. Both cartridges function in standard length rifle actions without having to step up to the magnum length and expense.
