When I was a kid in the 1990s it seemed like 10 gauge caught on real big for goose hunters in South Dakota. Witch gun companies made 10 gauges in the late 80s & early 90s?

Got an American Arms 10 gauge and was curious about where to get a replacement stock for it? One other thing it has the words Canne Cromate on the left side of the reciever, curious to know what it might mean.

the beauty of a 10 gauge load really comes out when one reloads...using factory ammo, there is little difference between the 10 gauge and the 12 guage 3.5 inch load...but and this is a big BUT, components have improved to such a degree, velocities of massive payloads are pushing 1700fps and still within recognised safety parameters..THIS is the true value of the 10 gauge waterfowling gun. i had 2 browing gold 10s stalker models

Yep, I have one of them H&R 10 ga destroyers. Very hard kicker.[B)]

I have a Browning gold 10 ga, similar to carrying a railroad iron, but not much kick.

I think the big 10 gauge rush started in the mid/late 70's.
Ithaca Mag 10, Marlin 36" barrel Goose Gun, and the Spanish 10 Doubles were pretty hot then!
I have the coolest of all 10 gauges ever made!
The Winchester 1901 Lever Action 2 7/8" Chamber!
We used to call the Mag 10 Ithaca "The Lead Launcher"!

In 1975 I got my first job in a department store that sold guns. The 10 gauge double we sold was a monster and it was made by Boito.

I really like the Browning Gold 10, big and heavy But, solid and kicks like a 12 pump.
