Anyone familiar with the 2.5-8x28mm dual-x reticle? Plan to use it on a S&W 41 (7" barrel).

Weaver makes great scopes, except the variable one may be too big for your purpose. I have a Weaver 4X on one of my Browning 22 pistols and it is well balanced. FYI, I almost bought the same scope you are inquiring about, but noted it was just too dang big for my pistol.Boomer

Thanx, Boomer,I just bought a S&W 41 which has a 7" barrel and is 12" overall in length. The 9.3" scope length should work. Does your 4x perform as expected?
