Competitor Pistol

Experts: I remember a cannon breech pistol single shot with an interchangeable barrel system being manufactured in the New England states. It was simular to the Lone Eagle pistol but differed by several minor details. The striker cocked by the twisting of the cannon breach cap. The barrels interchanged rather than barreled actions. The action had the capability for changing the case head sizes. The laminated wood stock was beautiful and could easily modified for individual fit. To increase it's availability they were distrubitued by a larger company; I believe it was either Savage or Marlin. I have lost track of Competitor Mfg. Does anyone know whether the company is still in business? How does one contact? Thanks in advance.
