where a gun came from

I bought a gun a couple years ago from an older gentleman and I am trying to find out where it came from and if it is possible to buy parts to repair it. It is a 12-gauge pump shotgun with an exposed hammer. It appears to be quite old, possibly from the early 1900's but I am not sure. The markings on the barrell say: National Fire Arm Company but I can't seem to find anyone who has ever heard of them. If anyone has ever heard of this company, or knows if they were bought out or taken over, I would love to have this information. Thanks!!!

I looked thru Flayderman and Gun Traders Guide and neither mentioned it. Showed National Arms Co but that was before slide action shotguns.

Does it have any other markings as to where it was manufactured - National Arms was another Crescent name made for May Hardware stores, but as stated these were for Double barrel and singles prior to pump action. Any more info is appreciated...

Let me revise the above - In the 3rd Edition of Gunmarks by Robert H. Balderson, The National Firearms Co. was a trade name of Hopkins & Allen used on rifles, c. 1900. My other books of course list Hopkins & Allen but have no mention of a pump shotgun - only doubles and singles. Stumped again!!!
