I suspect that Eclipse is the model name, and not the name of the manufacturer. Does the gun have anything else written on it?

YES THE MODEL NAME IS MERCUREY. MADE IN BELGIUM.

"Eclipse" was a trade name used by E. C. Meacham for their imported shotguns.If you have any information about E. C. Meacham - I would like to have it for my reference materials.
