Italian hand gun help

I have an old semi auto Italian hand gun (1957) with this stamped on the slide. (Armi Galesi Brescia Breyetto Cal. 7.65) Any info on this fire arm would be appreaciated. It's been in the family for several years and we always felt it a 32 cal. Only problem is the 32 casings jam when ejected. Now that I've been looking into ammo I'm not so sure it is a 32. Needless to say I still have all my fingers, but don't plan on fireing it again until I find out more about this gun. I tried to reach the manufacture in Italy but sport shops in the area say it dissapeared many years ago Can anyone help me ?? Joe

7.65mm is .32 auto, so if you are using .32 acp rounds, you are OK. Why the ejected cases are jamming is another question entirely, and could have to do with a broken or damaged extractor or ejector, or a pitted or corroded chamber, or ???
