Any comments on this gun? I found a Browning BDA 380 in Nickel for $350. I have owned Hi-Powers and they were good. The BDA kinda looks like a mid sized Beretta. Seems kinda heavy and bulky for a 380.Any comments good or bad appreciated.Roy

As you said,it's nice but it's big and bulky for a .380.If you plan on doing a lot of shooting, ammo costs would probably be lower with a 9mm.

Looks like a Beretta because they made it for Browning, no more 14 round mags, too big for a 10 shot .380........

They are close to the Beretta 84. I have shot them and they are good quality guns. As for the high capacity mags you can find them if you look. Try Forrest Co.(520)210-7900 They have 13rd mags, 20rd mags and 25 rd mags. Their mags are aftermarket but I have purchased a 13rd mag from them and it works great except it will not stay open on last shot. I have bought other mags from them in the past and they have treated me great. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I've got the factory 13 round mags for the Beretta 84 or the Browning BDA 380. They aren't as cheap as the aftermarkets, but they stay open on the last shot just like they are supposed to. You'll find the real deal mags for the BDA have always been expensive. Back in 1993 before the Crime Bill, the factory Beretta 92FS 15rd mags were $22.50, the factory Browning High Power mags were $28.95, but the factory mags for the BDA 380 and the Beretta 84 ran between $36-40. Even then, for what ever reason, the mags were a lot more expensive than there 9mm counterparts. Anyway, if you are interested my E-mail is LRARMSX@HOME.COMBTW both of the guns (the BDA and the 84) are made by Beretta and their magazines are identical and were made for them by MecGar.
