This is in refrence to Khegglie's thread on the M2.I have been able to locate the article on the M2 in the Combat Handgun May 2001 edition. Also in reguards to German made sigs. Every Sig has a little German made quality in them . All the Frames are produced in Germany, and a lot of the smaller parts are made in germany. Where the Good Old USA steps in is slide fabricating, assembally and sales. The only guns that are completely manfactured in Germany are the M2, Trailside, 210, and 232. This is just my opinion, but I think the reason for the M2 not meeting expectations is that it is a new firearm and with any new firearm, you are going to have bugs to work out. In time the M2 will become a great product. As will the Sig Pro.The reason why sigs other traditional products are so reliable is because they have had time to work most of the bugs out.
