Does anybody make a rifle chambered for 7-30 Waters? I understand U.S. Repeating Arms made a lever action in that caliber several years ago. Do they still make it?

hello all.has anyone have any experience using this round in a rifle on medium to heavy whitetails? i am thinking ranges from 75 to 150 yards.i think this was the designers' intention, and i have a t/c that i can use, 23 inch bbl. it sounds adequate, but, i want to check in on this first. thanks,

I'm in need of cases to load 7-30's. I've heard that they can be made by necking down 30-30 hulls. If this is true, can I neck down 30-30 hulls with my 7-30 dies or is there a special die that I need to purchase. Have been looking on the web but can not find any info. Looks like 7-30 waters hulls are hard to find "at a reasonable price."

I don't know if any one is still making them, but I had a 7-30 barrel on my Contender that was the trick on whitetails.I believe it is a 30-30 necked down to 7mm.There are still around for sale. Check GunBroker and at gunshows.
