Does anybody have any experience with the Kahr Arms version of the Thompson M1927A1 .45 carbine? Are they good copies of the original and Auto Ordnance models? Will military magazines function? What is a ball-park fair price for a new one with the stick magazine? Thanks.

I understand Kahr bought out Auto-Ordnance and is merely reproducing the same weapon. Military magazines have to be modified so their "hole" catch fits into the magazine release. Price? about $750-850. A 10 rd drum will run about $110. A 50 rd drum, expect to pay around $525 and up. They are fun, tho.

Have had feeding problems with mine. The space between the mag and the chamber ramp is almost wide enough to stick your finger into. The rounds are either hanging up by the nose on the bottom of the ramp or are going into chamber entrance sideways. It's not happening on every round but often enough to be aggravating. I am using the mag supplied with the weapon. This weekend, after 1100rd, the extractor rode back up onto the bolt and I am going to have to send it in for repair. I'll reserve any judgement on it until I get it back.
