I ran across a S&W Victory revolver Ser. V242xxx that appears to be pristine. It is parkerized, Ser.# numbers match on the frame-barrel-cylinder-grip. It appears to be unfired with no holster wear and no drag ring around the cylinder. It does not have Property of U.S. Military stamped on it. I was told the Ser.# falls within a Navy contract. Anybody confirm the Navy contract and have an idea of value?

S&W Victory revolvers I've seen were 38S&W.British revolvers should carry their ordnancearrow and proof load marking.
