Since there are very few 10mm pistols made anymore do you think the value will go up? I have a S & W 10mm and was wondering should I keep it or sell?

My best guess is that the full 10mm will go the way of the .41 mag. It will have a dedicated following but not much more than that.

Gap is probably right. The 9mm frames out there just couldn't handle the 10mm so they made the .40 to replace it. I have two Colt Delta Elites and they are first rate. I think the 10mm is the perfect auto caliber. Faster than a 9mm and hits harder than a .45. What more can a man ask for?

I believe they came up with the .40 because the feds wanted a large-caliber handgun that didn't have much recoil(female agents).I like my Delta Elite, too, though.
