can't get buffer on new AK

I am trying to put a nylon buffer on my new Russian AK but I cannot get the large Piston spring (or bolt carrier return spring) clip released to put the buffer on. On my Norinco AK's all I had to do was pull back on the spring and lift out a little "clip" to release the tension and then I could slide the buffer onto the piston or bolt carrier return spring rod. The "clip" on the new Russian AK is made in the USA and I just don't see how it will come off so I can install the buffer.Does anyone know how to get that clip off the end of the main bolt carrier return spring? Thanks.

I dont know how, but you can ask at ak-47.net. I know you can buy a buffer on the forum for$10 that you dont have to remove the spring. If you have an ak and have never been there, your welcome in advance.
