My wife and I are getting our CCW licenses soon, and I was considering getting one of the two. I'd like to know if anyone out there has had (or shot extensively) both and which you prefer. I know full well the argument that 9mm is way better than .32. We don't need to drag that up. I know that power is the price you pay for smaller size.-Marcus

I have a p32 and had a p40. I love the 32 because it is so small and light so you will always carry it. When I first got it and tried it out, the pin that held the slide on came out, 2or 3 times, while firing it!! I called kel-tec and they sent me 2 new pins and it hasnt happened again. I sold the 40 because it kicked like a mule! My cousin has the 11 and loves it. I perfer the tarus pt-111.

Hello ,I hav th e keltec 40 , & I love it !!! yes ithas a little bit of a bite , but the cal.-size package is GREAT , Im going to get a p32soon as a "back pocket" -"summer" carry item.Ive had and "carried" just about everything on the market in the last 22 or so years - Iwork in law enforcement and "carry" non-stop.any-how the 40 is a great choice , & the p32is smaller , lighter & less bite ...good luckazgunnut2@yahoo.com.....

I find that my girl won't carry because most of my handguns are to heavy or bulky for everyday use, I'm considering the P32 for her.I think that the P32 would be considered more of a pocket pistol, where as the full size would be more of a compact or sub-compact auto.
