Side mount scope for SKS

Hi, found two dealers selling two very interesting SKS's. One is a Russian, all matching, in very good condition with a side mounted scope, like the ones commonly available for AK's. The scope is a 7x Russian PSO-2 with a built in, quick release mount. Professionlly done and certainly unique, but the scope is magnified way too much and it sits up a bit too high. He wants $400 for the whole package, $300 for the gun only. The other gun is a Norinco, all matching, in good condition with a side-mounted scope that I think has been characterized on this board as the "holy grail" of scope mounts. It's a neat little dovetail rail mount, quick release, with a totally cool 1.5x scope. The scope sits up at a perfect height. The whole package is rock stable. The dealer noted that this gun might be a Vietnam bring-back. He also inferred that the scope and mount were probably military issue, not some commercial, aftermarket civilian job like the Russian that I mentioned. He also wants $470 for it. I'm torn between these two guns and need your opinions. Do you think the Norinco is what he says it is? Is the scope and mount rare? Which should I get? I already have several SK's and am looking for a novelty. Thanks!

IF IT SAYS NORINCO IT DEFFINETLY ISN'T A VIET NAM BRING BACK. 10 YEARS AGO US DEALERS WERE BUYING THESE FOR UNDER $60 NEW. SOUNDS A BIT PRICEY TO ME.

I've been drooling over the new Yugos, but we can't get them here in CA because of the stupid grenade launcher. Many FFL's won't accept any SKS from out of state. Buying through a local dealer is my only option. What do you think about the Russian? $300 for one in very good condition seems to be a pretty good price, compared to what I've seen in GB auctions. Having the scope rail already installed saves me the trouble of having to add it later.
