Were there ever any 30-06 blanks made with a star crimp style (Bullet End) nose similar to the more modern 223 style blanks. I have some of the older style with the countersunk red plugs (50s & 60s era I think). I am looking for the star crimp style nose 30-06 style if this style was ever made. I have heard they were. Any ideas where I could get some if they were ever produce?

Don't remember seeing any blank 30-06 rounds with the star crimp nose. Grenade launcher ctgs did have a star crimp but I wouldn't want to use them as blanks.

I've got some of the standard blanks available in .30-06. They come in 20 round boxes and run $5.50 per box. I'd have to check to see if they are the star crimp or not. I've had some of the local WWII re-enactors buy them for their rifles. Additionally I have blanks available for .308/7.62 NATO, 7.62x39, .303British, 7.5French, .32S&W, and possibly some 7mm Mauser as well. My E-mail is LRARMSX@HOME.COM
