Remington 30/30 is stamped on the barrel. As well as Pat. 1899. It's an automatic, it's in real good condition. I shot it 6 times it shoots like a new one. I'd like to know what this gun is worth before I do anything else with it. Yes it is manufactured by Remington.[This message has been edited by jerryjr (edited 01-25-2002).]

Does it have a detachable 5 round box magazine in front of the trigger guard? A round knob on the bolt? You've probably got a Remington Model 8A or 81A in .30 Remington, which is not .30-30 Win. but is basically the same thing in a rimless version. What other markings are on the gun? If we can determine the model we can give you a ballpark value. What condition is it in? Stock, bore, bluing. "Real good" is kind of vague, and doesn't mean the same thing to different people.[This message has been edited by Der Gebirgsjager (edited 01-25-2002).]
