Holo sight on a Ruger KP95

O.K. Go ahead and file this under "I don't know why.....I just want to spend the money!" Does anyone know if a Bushnell Holo sight will fit on my Ruger KP95? This is the Ruger with the polymer lower and the stainless slide.Everything I read says this sight will fit on any handgun with the standard weaver mount setup. My question is this: What exactly is a weaver system? I imagine it is some type of accessory rail. Doesn't look like my Ruger has one. Does it? (I knew I shoulda bought that Glock!)Also, am I a total moron for thinking about spending $200 bucks on this sight? I am left eye dominant but right handed. This makes for difficult quick sight aquisition and it looks like the Holo might help. Plus, it's a way cool gadget! As always, any input is appreciated.

HiCap, I don't think you will be disappointed with the holosight!! I'm also left eye dominant and right handed!! I love these sights. I use them on XP-100s and shoot long shots 200 yards or more with real consistency. I'm sure they make a Weaver style mount to fit your gun. I have an extra Holosight II that has been tested on three pistols for accuracy only and will sell it for 150.oo plus shipping

Thanks Groundhog. I appreciate your help on the Holo. I just might take you up on your "extra". I'm not sure yet. BTW, Can anyone else elaborate on the Weaver mount?
