In an earlier post, you talked about changing from 2400 to Bullseye in your .44 Mag.While both are useable, they have very different applications in the .44. Bullseye is a VERY fast burning powder, suitable to smaller pistol cases. In the .44, it is use for low velocity loads. Attempting to get 'magnum velocity with a fast burning powder will cause higher pressures than is prudent.2400 is a much slower burning powder and can be used for much hotter loads without reaching dangerous pressures.If you are having trouble getting complete ignition with 2400, try the following: 1) use a magnum primer 2) keep a uniform and tight crimp 3) switch to H110. Almost the same burn characteristics as 2400
