What is the quality of these rifles. I believe they were made on HK tooling in Greece. Anybody know about them?

Thanks

I own an example of this rifle and these are NOT clones, they are licensed copies made by Helenic Arms in Greece. The entire production line was set up using HK technical help and utilizing machinery brought in from Germany rather than slapped togther parts kits assembled by "blind monkeys" (I just love that one from Kimberkid) in some light industrial complex. Other than a few minor changes to items like the rear sight and a slight change in the color of the finish these Greek made HK's are very nice. Before I forget and have to be reminded; avoid those SAR-8 rifles which use aluminum receivers as they are quite trouble prone. Just in case you are not sure, a magnet will determine rather quickly whether or not the receiver in question is fabricated from aluminum.
