Anyone have experience becoming a gun show promoter? What laws are involved, federal and local. Any useful web links?

    IMHO, you would be better off holding off promoting anything for a couple of years at least. Since the nobama gun panic has run it's course, gun show attendance and sales have been in the toilet. Considering all the up front costs and legal hoops you are going to have to jump through to put on a descent gun show, putting on one now is only going to cause you to lose your shirt big time.
