Does any one have an extractor for a Remington 722 in 257 Roberts? I have looked everywhere I can think of and have not been able to come up with one. Thanks Steve

    idaho cowboy,

This should be in the 'Want Ads' forum if you are soliciting parts.

To answer your question best I can, there haven't been replacement parts for this bolt for a couple of decades. Remington decided to stop supporting the M721/722 so what was available is now gone for quite some time. You might find one just by chance but it's unlikely since they were selling for $50.00 - $75.00/each years ago.

The two choices you have are to:

Have a gunsmith install an M16 mini-extractor in your bolt.

Buy a new bolt from Dave Kiff at PTG and have it fitted to your receiver.

Neither of these is a cheap alternative but either may be the only course of action given the lack of replacement parts.

    Best.
