Trying to find a complete rear sight for the subject rifle. It is a single shot lever action type action. Sight is a side mount with one screw on the side. Would like to find original sight. It is a brass lined barrel and only two patent dates. I've checked all Google, auctions and Numeric for the part. Would appreciate anyone's help on this and I know it will be hard to find as 1900 era. Please email Fred at bev@cristcdl.com.

Should have put in looking to buy but didn't due to vintage of this rifle.

Fred, if you should find one, go play the lottery the same day.[:)] Hamilton had a thing about making a rear sight that was unique to that model, and parts for Hamiltons are near non-existent.
The only plus side is the sights were stamped out sheet metal, so having to make something wouldn't be too hard to do.
Keep in mind the brass bore liner, and the .22 Shorts of the day were loaded with BP. CB or BB Shorts is all that should be fired in it. Flobert rounds would be a better option.

Thanks for the pic and comment. I knew this would be next to impossible to find.
