Which is worth more: the one with the dovetail scope mount grooves or the one with a smooth top.

    i think all 61,s in .22 rimfire magnum were grooved for a scope, rifles in .22 WRF(shorter than the .22 mag, but longer than the .22lr) were made earier before the grooves were added. the .22 mag,s bring good money. mr myopic

    As eastbank pointed out, all of the Model 61 rifles made for the 22 WMR cartridge have a groove-top receiver. If you find one that does not have a grooved-top, something is very wrong.
