picked up an hk91 at the gunshow today. a little curious about what its worth. it has never been shot. the bipod is mounted after the reciever instead of at the end of barrel like most that i have seen. i know its rare in this configuration. curious how rare.

I'm getting ready to purchase a rifle from an acquaintance of mine. He claims that the rifle is an HK91G3, but he said he'd sell it to me for $450. After looking at the pricing on true HK91's I came to the conclusion that it's probably a clone, but even if it is, would it be a good price? Are there any HK91 clones I need to be wary of?

Check www.HKPRO.com and www.hkweaponsystems.com and go to the discussion boards. Best, Robert

These sites are awsome on the lay outs and film clips of the rifle actions in motion. I have also ordered owner manuals from HK Sterling, Va. by phone (they are sent free) Best, Robert
