I would like to learn more about this round. It seems to be a very inexpensive centerfire catridge and easy on the pocketbook for plinking. I can't think of any cheaper. What kind of range would it have coming out of an AR Style gun? How would it do on Texas hogs and varmits? Thanks

    I am looking for cheap 7.62x39 ammo. I tried J and G Sales but they want $117 after shipping. Is there a place where I can get a better deal or do I just have to wait until the next gun show?

    I bought WOLF ammo for about $2.05 per box of 20. Check it out, best prices are at the gun shows.

    I just completed an extensive comparison of online prices for 7.62x39. J&G just quoted me $101.99 for 1000 rds., shipped. Odd that you would get a higher price. Anyway, JG's 7.62 is backordered right now. The cheapest I found, was www.ammoman.com. $99 for 1000 rds. shipped. They also offered 3% off if you pre paid with a check or money order if you wanna save a few more dollars. Also, Kam, the cheapest I've ever seem Wolf 7.62 at Gun Shows was $2.75/box.
