Side by side 43 cal. rifle ??

I need help identifying a rifle that I just inherited. It's a side by side 43 cal. that's very old.There doesn't appear to be a brand name anywhere and it seems like it was hand engraved and maybe from Germany. I have pics of some of the marking including the name H. Scherping that is ingraved on it.If anyone can help or point me to help I'd really appreaciate it.
