I am going to buy one in Jan. and i want to know about it before i buy it. It is a an new 12ga auto black field shotgun with a 26 or 28 or 30 in barrel. which barre size should i get ? Is it a dependable gun. I am buying it because of the low price 310.00 and it looks like a deal to me ? I have't ever heard about them ? Please tell all! Thanx I also live in Florida and Dove huntin has been good.

The latest Guns & Ammo liked them. Said they were reliable and a good bang for the buck.-Marcus

Dove hunting is mostly pass shooting, so the longer barrel would probably be your best bet. The extra length and weight out front makes for a smoother swing through the bird. At least that's the generally accepted theory. I have always done pretty well on dove with a 28" barrel myself.

According to the Guns and Ammo write-up, the only down side was that they did not like to function with light target loads, other than that the review was favorable...

I have one with a 26" tube. So far it has functioned flawlessly. The only thing I dont like about it is you have to push the button on the side to release the loading gate. You can forget about quick reloads.

hey golightly, i live in north fla. and dove hunting up here has been very poor, went into the season in oct. with very low bird count, i guess you rasied all the doves down there where you are.im a retired vet. and i go every weekend im a pretty good shot , shoot skeet every week during the summer and ive only managed to get 16 doves so far. our third phase seaon opened last sat. i was out both morning at first light and never uncased my gun. but to get back to your question ive looked at the shotgun your talking about and even shot one at skeet and for the price i dont think you can go wrong. i would like the 20ga. instead of 12 but to use for everything i think it would be fine. and tou cant beat the price. lots of luck and if you have a big dove shoot let me know how you do. rained up here today we needed it pretty dry around here. supposed to get cold next week hope to bring some northern doves in, big flocks, big fast birds.
