Type 73 SKS legal transfer??????

Let's say a guy knows another guy who is an ex-military, high ranking special operations guy. Seen it all and done it all. Massive, massive collection of guns and other odd and rare goodies. Let's say he has 5 Type 73 SKS's with the three shot burst option and he is willing to sell them DIRT CHEAP to a friend. Deal of a lifetime. If someone were to say, "I'll take them all where did you get them?" His reply would be "I can't remember". So my question is, is there anyway a person could transfer these guns with a class 3 if there is no paper trail and also there being a good chance that these guns were taken during a conflict in another country and then magically ended up in his possesion? The old "cut and run" so to speak. If I am not mistaken, these guns were military issue only and any that made it in were all bring backs. But then again that is why I am posting in ask the experts cause I do not know. However let's assume that a person has seen these guns and realized that it is very obvious these guns are brand new and never fired, which to me is another red flag. One would not want to walk in to transfer a gun and then the ATF show up before the dealer hangs up the phone wanting to know how in the hell you got 5 type 73 SKS's with the burst switch. So "ANY" information on these guns would be greatly appreciated. Would one assume that these guns are not supposed to be here and therefore illegal? Any good loopholes? I got a strong feeling that if person were to say "ok I will take them all and I am on the way to the class 3 guy to get them in my name"..........he would then say.....you know I changed my mind and decided not to sell them. However a person would not want to even bring up a class three conversation with this person unless he knew the facts so he could assure him it's legal to do. One would not want to scare off the deal of a lifetime. Is there anything that a person could look for on the guns that may give them clues if it's on the level or not........exluding import marks of course. All help greatly appreciated. For the record this is just a hypothetical question. Thanks
