Lama micro max 380 is it any good

seen one at the gun show, are they any good!they are alot cheaper in price then the coltshow about as a backup gun!! thanks for any info

    I don't have one of these but I have a Llama IIIA .380 that I have had for over 30 years.(They are the same design Mini 1911). I don't know if the quality has changed over the years. Mine has been a fine piece work. Still shoot it often. Have had no malfunctions to complain about. Keep it loaded with Hydroshocks. I think it would make you a fine back up with the same load.

    I had a LLama 380 and the grip angle was too vertical, making snap shots all strike very low. If you only have one or two pistols you can get used to it and compensate.On the plus side it was lighter and narrower than most 380s and it had a locked breech.

    I currently carry a llama micro max 380 and have shot about 2000+ rounds and never had a problem at all, seems to work as good as my 1911 45. I think that it has been improved over the older models, but thats only my opinion.
