BUCHSEN (plural) has several translations (with an "umlaut" over the U): boxes, tins, cans, rifles. The usual translation for rifle is Gewehr (gun), but Buchse may be a more technically accurate term in German -- a "this is my rifle, this is my gun" kind of thing. If the literal translation is ".22 cal long for rifles," I think you may need .22 long rifle ammo in it.[This message has been edited by Gordian Blade (edited 12-12-2001).]
