Bushmaster vs. Olympic Arms AR-15

O.K. guys, I have been notified by Mrs. Claus that Santa might be getting me an ar-15. Question, which is better as far as quality? I understand that Olypic comes with a lifetime warranty. I prefer one with a factory muzzle brake or compensator and of course a 223. Thanks in advance for any and all input, it will be apreciated by Mrs. Claus.

With the vast numbers of people that swear by the BM's, it would be foolish not to listen to them. I've not owned a BM, but they are likely the finest mass-produced AR's made today. And, they come in so many variations you should find exactly what you're looking for.I do have an Oly PCR4 that I purchased new about 6 months ago. I had a little feeding problem with Black Hills hollow points that was easily solved by polishing the feed ramps. Since then it has not had a single jam or any other problem with this accurate rifle, except it's hunger for more ammo! Also, at Oly you can reach a live person if you need help, and Tom S. moderates the message forums on their website and at AR15.com. I don't know about customer service at BM.Summerize: BM for top of the line production AR's, Oly for great rifle for a great price.

I just have to tell you that I got an olympic arms natl match with bull barrel because I wanted a half inch at a hundred yards. It just would not do it. I tried everything. Finally bought a Rock River upper for 525.00 approximately from a guy and it is superb. They are beautiful and have an impressive perfomance. This guy will give you a good price. He's a pro shooter and knows his ARs. Donnie PridemoreSABLE CO.1117 Deer Run Rd.Port Byron, IL. 61275(309)496-3030(253)595-5271 Fax www.sableco.com dprisp223@cs.comTell him Eric from houston said hi.

Both nice but the Oly SUM barrels are the most accurate factory barrels around. The Rock River ARs use Wilson barrels.cpermd
