Interested in age of weapon

I have a Winchester 94 Pre-64 .32 Spc caliber and want to find out the year Manufactured. The serial number is 1335XXX. Any help is appreciated.Thanks,mrfixit65

    My book shows that production of the 1894 stopped in 1942 at 1287469. Beginning in 1949, numbering started at 1500001. A footnote says that production figures for 1943 and 1948 are unknown. Apparently made in that time period during WWII.

    mrfixit65: Take a look at the magazine band up near the front sight: is it "flat", or does it have a gentle curve to it? During the war, and for a very short time afterwards, production time of these bands was shortened up by making it in a very simple manner. These flat banded carbines carry a small preminum, value wise.
