I have a friend who has, I believe, a French M35 hand gun and I need to know how to find out if it is a M35 and if he can find a clip for it.

slide would be rollstamped MAB 35a or similar. also St.Eitenne (sp?).finding the clip might be a chore in itself, but finding the ammo for it is a guaranteed headache. takes a * 7.65mm long cartridge. hope some of this helps.best, joey

Gun Parts Corp. for the mag., Old Western Scrounger for the ammo.

I've got the mag $23. The ammo I have had, I'll have to see if I have any left, and yes it is expensive as all get out. At over a dollar a shot, the last time I was offered any I only bought a few boxes. Beware of the old original stuff, quite a bit of it won't go off reliably anymore. The stuff I've had recently was a custom load that had been done specifically for that gun, formed from other brass. It is reloadable and non-corrosive. But again, I'm not sure I still even have any. If I do, it is maybe a box or two.

centryarms.com you can ptobably buy the whole gun for the price of the clip, but that really isn't a clip, its a magizine spring. Make sure its a MAS. It will say that on the side and 1935 in front of the breach.
