BROWNING MAG CAP??

WHAT IS THE MAGAZINE CAP. OF A BROWNING 2000?? ONE OR TWO?? THANKS, JOHN

    John, I just took my Browning 2000, out of the gun cabinet to make sure I was correct on magazine capacity.Capacity 3 (either 2 3/4" or 3", 12ga)with the plug removed.So with one in chamber--Total 4 shot cap.

    John, DO NOT try it out the top end of the magazine tube, if you can avoid it. It can be done that way (last resort), but it's a son of a gun to get things back together.Anyway--The way it's intended to be done is--Take an empty shot shell and insert it into the mag tube (with the open end against the mag follower, naturally) then follow with another shell--this will then force the plug (which is designed to compress) through the hole in the magazine follower and then into the empty shell for removal. Sure was a hell of a lot easier with the A-5.Anyway, this is the way it's designed to work, unless the plug has aged to the point that it won't compress, through the hole.Good Luck

    IT WORKED!!!!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOU HELP. THE GUY WHO DESIGNED THAT SYSTEM MUST HAVE BEEN DUCK HUNTING TO LONG WITHOUT A DOG. WHAT A MESS. THANKS AGAIN, JOHN
