I found a local dealer offering a Colt Mustang .380 in good condition on consignment for $285. I know nothing about these guns. They seem to be ideal for CC. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Either buy it or email me the dealer's phone number so I can. davidnunn@texoma.net

If i was you grab it up. I still kick myself in the butt for passing one up in the 80's for $75.00 from a buddy of mine who was in need of cash

If it's in good condition, buy it. That's a good price. I had a Mustang one time but, in a moment of weakness, traded it off. If I could get it back for $285 I wouldn't hesitate to do so.

I'm still kicking myself for not buying one for $400 a few months back. Colt's are very popular right now. I think everyone will agree that it will do nothing but escalate in value if that's what the hitch is. If you don't like it, I'm sure you can get your money back, plus...

FUNNY, I WENT TO A GUN STORE TODAY AND THEY HAD 3 USED ONES. BLUE, MATTE S/S? AND POLISHED S/S OR NICKLE FINISH? ALL WERE $469/EA. THEY LOOKED GOOD AND WAS WONDERING MYSELF ABOUT THESE GUNS. THE PRICE SEEMED HIGH SO I FIGURED THEY MUST BE WORTH SOMETHING. WHAT WOULD BE A GOOD PRICE TO OFFER? THANKS, GD.

I just bought a colt pony at a local dealer for $300, and thought that was a great deal!!! At the local gun show, they were used about $500- to $600 They are light, easy to fit in your front pocket with a pocket holster, for cc, I forget that I am even carrying mine. I wish the double action pony model I have, had a lighter trigger...
