Need to know the value for a C. Sharps Custom 45/70 with the following features. 34 inch half round half octagon barrel. Globe front sight with spirit level, buckhorn barrel sight, vernier tang sight. French grade receiver and dull colored barrel. Deluxe wood with pistol grip. Friend of mine has it and was wanting to know how much it is worth. Thanks in advance

Is this a hammer or hammerless model. Are there date or model markings? Does it have pistol grip with cap and forend with cap and is the receiver engraved? It is apparently a "Long Range Model"

This is the 1874 Hartford model with a pistol grip but no cap on the bottom of the pistol grip. The tang sight is the deluxe model with adjustments for windage and elevation. The forend has a german silver nose piece that is inlettened into the wood. This model does have a hammer. It does not have any checkering. Thanks
