I would expect to see a price closer to $200. Personally, I wouldn't buy one at any price, unless I were in the drug business and wanted to impress my customers with how bad I am. Firing a couple of mags cured me of the desire for one. Balance and grip are terrible, trigger pull is HEAVY, & sights are rudimentary; I couldn't even get my shots on the paper at 50'. But, if you can get one cheap enough, and just want to have fun.....Neal

The funny thing about it is that someone that owns a tech9 thinks they are a gunowner. You have to own a firearm first before you can be called a gunowner. Simple advice: pretend it costs 1000.00 and back away from it.

I bought a stainless ab-10 (post-ban tec9) for for $325, when i finally got it in the mail i picked it up and looked at it, racked it a few times....then went straight to my computer and sold it for $425.....if you couldn't tell, i wasn't impressed!save up and get yourself a beretta 92fs or something and buy an aftermarket 30 round mag. you'll get your high cap pistol, and it will be a hell of a lot more accurate, reliable, versitle, and fun.....just MHO

Yeah, I must agree. It does look intimidating, but that doesn't mean jack. Though I never fired a Tec-9, trust me, you will be regret every penny when you can't go through I mag with out problems. I know. I bought a Jennings-22 for a few bucks a couple years ago.If you feel you MUST get it, don't expect much. Save it and sell it to another sucker with too much money.

It seems like everyone one here thinks he is going to use it as a daily defense weapon or something.I have my share of Springfield Armorys, Glocks, H&Ks, ect ect.....my reliable carry weapons. But I also like the high capacity "drug dealer weapons"My collection is assualt based. I have a KG-99 and a Tec-9 I never fired. They are part of a big collection.....now they are ofcouse the cheaps of the bunch.....HK91, Polytech Ak, Uzi, Macs, AR, Mini-14, Spas 12, ect ect ect.Now the TEC 9s are cheap, but no assualt collection should be without one....its a piece of history. The market value has increased on these guns, but not the book value. I have seen them go for 350-600. They are simple cheaply made weapons only worth 200 bux....but is History. Maybe that 200-400 dollar Tec9 will fetch 2000-4000 in 20 years. Who knows.....But if your like me and have a good deal of high quality "normal guns", then why not buy a fun gun???I still have to buy a Kimel AP9 and Mini Uzi for the collection.
