Bought my 1st AR 15 this weekend, dealer said it had a preban muzzle break, now what would be the difference in pre or post ban muzzle break. cant hardly wait to shoot this thing Saturday, also any advice to 1st time AR owner would be appreciated.

It's a good rifle. Remember: Site Picture, Breath, and Squeeze. Have fun.

Dear Sir:Pre-ban is threaded on to the barrel,post-ban has a set screw that hold it to the barrel. Hint: Take alot of ammo, you will not want to put it down

Remember BRASS - Breathe, Relax, Aim, Sight, Squeeze. Learned this from a good friend that was a member of the US Army Rifle Team.[This message has been edited by airborne (edited 01-30-2002).]
