Browning hi-power upgrade?

Hey all, My ol' man gave me a browning Hi-power he has had for a while. Its a great gun, and shoots great. Only problem I have is that I don't like the sights too much. I was thinking of adding night sights to it, but I really don't want to screw it up. Its a very classic looking gun in my opinion. what are some of your opinions on upgrading this type of gun?thanks,Alex

    Gun sights have improved in recent years so why not take advantage of it.Your guns are your property and if you want to modify them to suit yourself do it. Just keep in mind that on resale, cutting stocks and barrels may decrease their value.

    well if it were me, i'd leave it like it is but night sights are available form brownells for $128.00.
