Ten years ago my grandfather passed away. I now have a pistol that he had and I can't find any kind of information on the web about it. He did serve in the navy and basically traveled the world. I don't know how he got it. it is black. On the grip are the letters IAG. it is dated 1947. it also has the initials PSF in three different places with a crown above the letters. the barrel it says Industria Arm Galesi-Brescia. It is a 7.65 (32cal) because there is one bullet. Thanks in advance for your help.

You've pretty well said it all, we just have to turn it around a little. Your pistol was made by Industria Armi Galesi Collebeato, Brescia, Italy. They have made numerous small semi-auto pistols. Yours is likely a 1930 model. The Crown/PSF is a standard Italian proofmark. The letters on the grips are the company logo. If you give more detailed information we can probably pin it down as to the exact model, but it is likely a 1930. In later years the company was renamed Rigarmi.
