Hi there. I don't want to sound like an idiot, but I recently bought a 121 m1 Hk and also marked Benelli 12 guage shotgun. I don't have any experience with semi-auto sgotguns, and I have put rounds into the magazine tube. Now what? I pull the bolt back and it won't cycle a shell into the barrel tube?!?! Thanks for any help

I might also add that it won't even act like it wants to pull a round out of the magazine. It will bolt back, and then forward without any round....over and over manually. I hope this can clarify anything.

There is a small lever looking, probably silver with a red dot, protruding from the receiver base near the trigger guard. Push this lever up into the receiver, and you will hear a round ejected into the feed area outside the tube. Now, cock the bolt and the round will be fed. The only way to empty a Benelli is to do this for EVERY ROUND. Remember this for safety. I always drop the first round in the cocked open bolt and then load the magazine tube. If the rounds are fired, the benelli will automaticaly feed the next round, but NOT when you manualy eject a live round. Almost forgot, this lever will also hold the bolt open if it is depressed prior to cocking.
